Tottenham's hopes of securing a Champions League spot are looking more likely, as they now sit inside the top four, after their 5-1 victory over Newcastle. There are still eight games for Antonio Conte's side to try and get maximum points from, to overcome the competition in the race for a top four spot.
The Italian has been playing with largely the same starting XI in recent matches. However Conte has had to make some rotations with injuries to the likes of Ryan Sessegnon and Sergio Reguilon.
Spurs have been provided a major boost, with the arrivals of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski, who made the move to the capital during the January transfer window. The former Juventus duo have made an immediate positive impact on the Lilywhites squad, helping at both ends of the field.

After Tottenham's victory on Sunday, Conte spoke in his post match press conference about his side's improvement. "I am enjoying seeing my team play in this way because I'm seeing great improvement in many aspects, tactical and technical and the mentality.
"I'm happy for the players because when they work hard you want to see the result of your work. Then I think the players they are enjoying to play in this way and also to dominate the game, to create all these situations to win the game," the Italian explained.
There have been a number of players who have stepped up in various positions on the pitch. Eric Dier and Ben Davies have made real improvements alongside Cristian Romero in a back three.
After a slow start to the season, Harry Kane is back to his best, firing and creating goals for the likes of Son Heung-min and Kulusevski. The wing-backs are also starting to display Conte's plans in the 3-4-3 formation, assisting each other and scoring.
There is no denying that improvements still need to be made if Spurs want to be a title contending team, which is where the transfer window comes in. Fabio Paratici could be a busy man in the summer, if the Tottenham boss is going to get what he wants from the window.
Conte needs the backing of those above him in order to strengthen the team where he feels he needs to. This is likely to be both with incomings and outgoings, as well as dealing with the three players who are currently on loan abroad.
Champions League football next season will not only be a boost for Tottenham in keeping some players and even Conte at the club, but will also be a positive financially. This is likely to benefit the club during the transfer window, in terms of having more money to spend and attracting more players.
Improvements can still be made in various positions on the pitch but if the current Spurs squad keep improving, there could be a dilemma. The aim is likely to be to bring in players who can strengthen the starting XI, as the January arrivals have already done.
However this would mean some of the current regular XI would have to be sidelined. There could then become an issue of players moving further down the pecking order and they will then have to consider whether they want to stay at a club where they won't be getting regular football.
With the amount of games and competitions that Tottenham are likely to have when the next season begins, rotations will be inevitable, but will it be enough to keep some in N17? A prime example of this is up front.
Although the Lilywhites have Dane Scarlett involved in the matchday squad as a striker option, at just 18 he is still very young to be expected to step up and perform in the Premier League. Conte's only other option up front is Kane.
The 28-year-old received some criticism at the beginning of the season for his slow start, but he is now finding his peak form again. This isn't only in front of goal, but also dropping deeper to try and create more for his teammates, which is why he now picking up goals and assists.
Previously, Spurs have had the likes of Carlos Vinicius and Fernando Llorente as backup options to Kane, but this season they have had to go without. Tottenham will want to make sure the striker they bring in will fit with Conte's squad and not just bring someone in for the sake of it.
Perhaps this is why someone to fill that role hasn't already been solved. Or maybe it's because players don't want to come to a club where they are going to have to sit on the bench and watch the England captain play 90 minutes in most games.
Therefore, both Paratici, Conte and any potential new players may all face a dilemma as to the right decision to make for both parties. Tottenham need players to improve the quality in the depth of their squad and will hope they can attract the players the Italian wants, with Champions League football, in order to make the necessary upgrades.
This may mean that some more outgoings are seen too but only time will tell and Spurs' main focus will now be to finish the season in the strongest possible position, before the window opens.
