Fabio Carvalho has explained how Jurgen Klopp influenced his decision to join Liverpool.
The Reds have officially confirmed the signing of the 19-year-old from Fulham. A deal was announced earlier in the summer, and now the move has been completed.
Liverpool had initially hoped to bring Carvalho to the club at the end of the January transfer window but were unable to get the transfer from Fulham over the line before the deadline. The Portugal Under-21 international joins the Reds for a fee that could rise to around £7.5million, and will wear the No.28 shirt.

Speaking after soaking in his new surroundings at the AXA Training Centre, Carvalho has explained why Klopp being manager was a key reason to his move to Anfield.
“One of the main reasons that I joined is because of him,” Carvalho told LFCTV .
“I’ve seen what he’s done to develop players to the next step and I’m sure he’s the right person to do so with me.”
Carvalho also expressed his delight at Mohamed Salah signing a new contract. The Egyptian put pen to paper on a new deal that runs until 2025, while his original contract was set to run out next summer.
“I’m happy he’s signed a new deal as well, because he’s one of the best in the world and I want to learn from him,” Carvalho added.
“I’m sure all the fans are happy and hopefully we can win many trophies this year.”
