Fabio Carvalho to quadruple wages in Liverpool deal
Liverpool's protracted acquisition of Fulham teenager Fabio Carvalho has moved a step closer with terms understood to have been agreed.
According to Football Insider, the 19-year-old will sign a five-year deal that will see his current wages quadrupled. Carvalho is free to join the Reds at the end of the season, when his existing contract a Craven Cottage expires. Liverpool will need to compensate the West London club and it is understood that a £5million fee has been agreed, with potential add-ons of up to £2.7million.
Jurgen Klopp's side came close to signing the attacking midfielder on transfer deadline day back in January, for a reported fee of £8.4million, but the transfer could not be completed in time.

Sergio Aguero sends Liverpool warning and picks out 'outstanding' player ahead of Man City clash
Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero warns the 'pressure is on Liverpool' to get a result at the Etihad on Sunday.
The Reds take on Pep Guardiola's side in what is shaping up to be a crucial fixture in the race for the Premier League title. Liverpool currently sit one point behind their rivals and a win this weekend will take them two points clear at the summit.
A defeat would hand City a huge boost in their bid to retain their title with a four-point lead. Although, Aguero admits the title race is 'still open' and hard to predict.
"In the league, this weekend’s match between City and Liverpool feels like a big moment but nothing will be decided yet," the former Manchester City striker told Stake. "Both teams are so consistent and had good wins against Watford and Burnley last week.
"For me, the advantage is with City because of the home advantage. Liverpool really need to win, so the pressure is on them. But it’s a hard one to predict and the title race is still open. These games are usually about moments and City will be hoping that Foden and De Bruyne perform again.
"Liverpool will be looking at Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz, who has been outstanding since he joined from Porto, to make the difference. I expect it to be a close game and a tactical battle between two great managers."
