Fabinho not in squad as two changes made to Liverpool team named for Wolves

Jurgen Klopp makes two changes to his Liverpool team as Darwin Nunez returns at Wolves.

The Uruguay striker has been used off the bench of late after returning from injury but starts in place of Harvey Elliott in the Reds' front three at Molineux. Nunez is expected to begin the game on the left as Cody Gakpo leads the line down the middle with Mohamed Salah to his right.

Joel Matip returns to the side at the expense of the hamstrung Ibrahima Konate as he partners Joe Gomez at centre-back with Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold on the left and right of the defence, respectively.

It's the same midfield that started at Brighton in the FA Cup defeat meaning it's a fourth successive start for teenager Stefan Bajcetic alongside the more experienced duo of Thiago Alcantara and Naby Keita.

Bajcetic became the youngest midfielder to start three Liverpool game in succession in the 2-1 loss at Brighton last weekend and is rewarded his form with another appearance in the Premier League.

There's no place for Fabinho, who misses out on the match-day squad.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Gomez, Robertson; Bajcetic, Thiago, Keita; Salah, Gakpo, Nunez.

Subs: Kelleher, Milner, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Elliott, Tsimikas, Carvalho, Phillips.
