Fabinho admits Liverpool were becoming annoyed by Newcastle United's timewasting - as he praised the part James Milner praised in a dramatic Anfield finale.
Fabio Carvalho came off the bench to score in the eighth minute of stoppage time as the Reds came from behind to claim a 2-1 Premier League triumph on Wednesday.
Fourth official David Coote had initially signalled five extra minutes only for referee Andre Marriner to extend the match after Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope required lengthy treatment during the additional period.

The Toon Army were furious at Liverpool being given the time to score the winner, leading to a confrontation between the two benches during the celebrations of the goal. But Fabinho believes Jurgen Klopp's side deserved the victory having overcome the relentless timewasting tactics of the visitors.
"We expect when teams come to play at Anfield to slow the game and take time at every set-piece and every throw-in," he said. "It annoys you a little bit. But we keep trying and pushing. Sometimes we were a little bit impatient with the ball, the fans were a little bit impatient as well, but we kept trying and pushing. I don't know if we played really good football but in the end we tried to put the ball into the box and score a goal, and we scored in that way.
"I had so many emotions when Fabio scored the second goal. Passion. relief, anger though because they were taking time - I think that's normal because a draw was a good result for them - but at the end we deserved to score. We pushed until the end and it was a really important three points."
Fabinho pointed to the impact of Milner in helping Liverpool over the line after the veteran came off the bench midway through the second half to play at right-back in place of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
"It's important to have some players like Millie because he was always pushing us 'come on boys, until the end, keep pushing' and helped you to believe," he said. "We kept trying. We were tired but we had to keep pushing until the end. I didn't know if the game was going to end before we took the corner or not, but we kept believing and we fought and we deserved the goal."
After an indifferent start to the season, Liverpool have now moved to within two points of the top four having backed up Saturday's record-equalling 9-0 home win over Bournemouth.
And Fabinho, speaking to LFC TV, added: "A second win in a row is really important. After a really good game against Bournemouth we knew we had to do the same against Newcastle. We tried to play good football with intensity and it's never easy when the opponent scores first but the team showed a really good reaction and really good organisation as well.
"We have to try to recover because Saturday we have a really important game against Everton."
