Liverpool midfielder Fabinho insists Burnley only had "a couple" of chances despite suggestions the Reds were fortunate to snatch all three points at Turf Moor.
The Brazilian scored the winning goal as Jurgen Klopp 's side battled to a 1-0 victory over the Clarets on Sunday afternoon.
Despite dominating the ball with 68 per cent of possession, Liverpool had fewer shots on target (four) than their hosts (five) and Alisson had a busy afternoon.
The goalkeeper made a fine stop to deny Jay Rodriguez from close range shortly after Wout Weghorst squandered an excellent chance to wipe out his clean sheet in the first half.
However, Fabinho maintains Liverpool were rarely troubled by Burnley and never let their control slip throughout the Premier League fixture.

Quizzed after the match about whether Sean Dyche's men had plenty of chances, the 28-year-old told DAZN : "Did they? No, not really. A couple."
Liverpool had an expected goals of 1.96 compared to Burnley's 1.16, according to Understat, so the statistics suggest a 2-1 victory for the visitors may have been more reflective of the match.
Nonetheless, Klopp echoed Fabinho in his own-post match assessment by claiming Burnley were made out to be more dangerous than they actually were due to delayed offside calls.
"I think it felt that they had more moments than they actually had, because of the late offside flag," the German said.
"There were a lot of situations where we defended them really well then the flag came late, or if Ali made a save he didn't even put the flag up anymore.
"So it looked really crazy. But that's the way it is."
Fabinho scored the game's only goal in the 40th minute by bundling the ball past Nick Pope following Trent Alexander-Arnold's corner.
It marked the former Monaco and Real Madrid star's sixth goal in 27 games this season, meaning he has already registered his best tally in a Liverpool shirt.

Fabinho has been in especially fine form since the turn of the year, scoring five of those goals in 2022 including a double against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup.
His performances at the base of midfield will be vital to Liverpool's hopes of silverware this season, and they return to action against Inter Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The clash with the Serie A champions could prove to be a tricky one before Norwich visit Anfield on Saturday afternoon for what is a more attractive fixture on paper.
