The FA Cup TV games have been confirmed for the upcoming third-round fixtures, with Arsenal Vs Manchester United among the six games to be shown live.
With the third round draw seeing Premier League teams enter the FA Cup, six matches have been chosen for live television broadcast.
Among those is the titanic clash between holders Manchester United and record-winners Arsenal. As a result, the match at the Emirates has been moved to Sunday 12 January at 3pm.
United boss Ruben Amorim said he knows where his side must improve when they face Arsenal again after this week’s Premier League defeat.
He told Amazon Prime: “Set pieces. That is important.”
“And we have to be more aggressive near the opponent’s box. But we have a lot to improve in all areas of the team.”
Earlier on the same day as Arsenal Vs United, Tottenham visit non-league side Tamworth in another TV game.
Liverpool’s 12:15pm tie with Accrington Stanley will be shown live on Saturday 11 January.
And later that day, Manchester City face Salford City -owned by a group of former Manchester United stars – in a local derby and possible giant-killing.
Aston Villa host West Ham on Friday 10 January, with Millwall Vs Dagenham & Redbridge on Monday 13 January finishing the live FA Cup TV games for round three.
Magic Of The FA Cup Continues For Tamworth
Tamworth overcame a Burton Albion side two leagues higher than them to book their place in the third round.
Manager Andy Peaks told BBC Radio WM: “It’s like a reward for the last two and a half years for everyone involved.
“It’s just a shame that we can’t get more than 4,000 people in The Lamb. Just me alone I must have already been asked for 4,000 tickets.
“I was quite happy to have a home draw or a really big game away. And some of the ties I didn’t really fancy, a long way away and a bit tough.
“But I just had a feeling when the number 53 came out and I looked at the faces of the ones who were pulling the balls out and they knew it was a big team.”
With Tottenham 10th in the Premier League and Tamworth 16th in the fifth-tier National League, there are currently 97 places between the two sides in the English football pyramid.
