When is the FA Cup quarter-final draw? Man City and possibly Manchester United to discover next opponents

Manchester United are aiming to join Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday night.

Pep Guardiola's side beat Bristol City on Tuesday, with Erik ten Hag's team welcoming West Ham United to Old Trafford in one of four fixtures taking place tonight. For the United manager, this is his maiden campaign in the competition and is an opportunity to claim a domestic double after lifting Carabao Cup last weekend.

Here's all you need to know about the draw for the quarter-finals...

When is the draw?

It will take place on Wednesday after Sheffield United host Tottenham Hotspur in the final tie of the fifth round. It will be broadcast live as part of BBC One's post-match coverage, which is due to conclude at around 10pm, barring extra time or a penalty shootout, and will also be streamed on the competition's social media channels.

What are the ball numbers?

1 Southampton or Grimsby Town
2 Blackburn Rovers
3 Brighton & Hove Albion
4 Sheffield United or Tottenham Hotspur
5 Fulham
6 Manchester City
7 Manchester United
or West Ham United

When are the quarter-final ties?

Those matches will be played over the weekend of March 18-19.
