Ferrari have maintained their advantage atop the Constructors’ Championship standings, after the second Formula One race of the season.
Charles Leclerc led Carlos Sainz in a one-two finish last week, with the Mercedes pair of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell rolling in behind to aid the Silver Arrows’ 2022 woe.
That was largely down to Red Bull’s capitulation in Bahrain although Sergio Perez has bounced back to bag pole position in Jeddah.
But, in Jeddah, Max Verstappen took the victory after a late overtake of Leclerc while Sergio Perez came home fourth. A safety car wrecked the Mexican’s hopes of the win after he started on pole.
Meanwhile, there were first points on the board for McLaren with Lando Norris in seventh.
Here is how the Constructors’ Championship looks after round two..
