The Australian Grand Prix takes place today in a very early start for UK Formula One fans.
Max Verstappen leads George Russell and Lewis Hamilton off pole as Mercedes look to put a bit of pressure on Red Bull, who have Sergio Perez starting from the pit lane after a rare issue for the Mexican in yesterday’s F1 qualifying.

There is also the renewed threat of Fernando Alonso and maybe a decent Ferrari in there, too.
