Ezra Miller: Star of DC movie The Flash arrested in Hawaii bar after ‘becoming agitated by karaoke singers’

The Flash star Ezra Miller has been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after an incident in a bar in Hawaii.

The actor, who has played the DC superhero in a number of movies including Justice League and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, was held after he allegedly became agitated while patrons at the bar in Hilo began singing karaoke.

According to the Hawaii Police Department Miller began yelling obscenities and at one point grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing,

He later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts, they said.

A police statement said: “On Sunday, March 27, at 11.30 pm, South Hilo patrol officers responded to a report of disorderly patron at a bar on Silva Street.”

It added: “The bar owner asked Miller to calm down several times to no avail. Miller was arrested and charged on both offenses and total bail was set at $500. He provided the bail and was released.”

The US actor, who also played Credence Barebone in the Fantastic Beasts films, is playing The Flash again in the aponymous DC movie due to come out next year.

A representative for Miller has been contacted for comment.
