Ezekiel Elliott flashed his New England Patriots jersey on his Instagram story on Tuesday, a day after news broke that he was expected to sign with the team.
Elliott has spent his entire career playing with the Dallas Cowboys up to this point. He tallied 231 carries for 876 yards and 12 touchdowns, when splitting time with running back Tony Pollard. There are expectations that he will be featured in a similar role in New England with Rhamondre Stevenson.
The duo should make for quite the spectacle on the field in a tough AFC East division. It was obviously needed after the New York Jets strengthened their offense with the signing of four-time Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook.
Zeke already has his #Patriots jersey made.

It remains to be seen how Elliott’s run in New England will actually play out on the field, but one thing is certain: His name sure looks good on the back of a Patriots jersey.
