Celtic banked £16m more from UEFA performance payments than Rangers this season.
The Parkhead club qualified for the knockout play-off round of the Champions League this season, while Rangers made it to the quarter-final of the Europa League.
However, due to playing in the Champions League, Celtic's earnings far exceeded that of their Glasgow rivals who progressed deeper into the Europa League.
Before a ball was kicked, Celtic earned €18.62m for their participation in the league phase. In contrast, Rangers banked €4.31m for playing in the league phase of the Europa League.
In win and draw bonuses - for beating Bratislava, RB Leipzig and Young Boys and drawing against Atalanta, Club Brugge and GNK Dinamo - Celtic earned €8.4m.
Rangers beat Malmo, FCSB, Nice and Union Saint-Gilloise and drew with Olympiacos and Tottenham to earn €2.1m.
Celtic earned €4.4m for their placing in the league phase (21st) with qualification to the knockout play-off round, where they lost to Bayern Munich, seeing them paid €1m by UEFA.
Rangers finished in the top eight in the league phase of the Europa League, seeing them earn €2.175m for their ranking and a bonus €600k for dodging the play-off round and advancing straight to the round of 16.
Competing in the round of 16, where they beat Fenerbahce, Rangers received €1.75m, then banked another €2.5m for making it into the quarter-final.
They were then knocked out by Athletic Bilbao.
The figures do not include legacy UEFA payments or money raised by either club through ticket sales for matches in the Champions League or Europa League.
