A beauty salon has opened its bright red doors in Nottingham's Goose Gate. Called Goose Beauty, the salon offers a full range of hair and beauty treatments and invites customers to come and 'get goosed'.
The salon - which owners describe as "relaxed" and "laid back" - has seen the premises undergo a complete makeover starting with the bold red exterior. The interior has been given a 70's inspired, plant-filled retro vibe complete with neon lighting.
It also features retro-inspired furniture touches, a gallery and a sage-green paint job along with huge mirrors. The circular signage over the desk adds to the bright, airy feel of the cosy shop.

It's located between the Sue Ryder charity shop and Amesa restaurant. The salon is also stocking the local favourite coffee maker, 200 Degrees, so visitors can grab a cuppa and a haircut.
The premises had previously been a branch of No+Vello which focused on high-tech hair removal systems. The salon opened in 2014 but it is unclear when it closed.
The toilets have been transformed from white tile to a fun neon red that matches the front of the shop. There is a full range of beauty treatments on offer at the shop from nail art to lip fillers and lash extensions to hair colours or cuts.
The Goose salon had previously been located at Tuckwells and Co, which is located on Upper Parliament Street.
