Extra buses to take Derry fans to the Ulster final against Armagh in Clones later this month have been requested from Translink.
Sinn Fein MLA Padraig Delargy made the request in a letter after Derry booked their place in the final for the second year in a row with a dominant win over Monaghan at the weekend.
Last year, Translink agreed to arrange buses for the Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-finals and finals.
Mr Delargy, in a letter to Translink, wrote: "As you will know, Derry GAA have advanced to the Ulster football final, which will be played on Sunday, May 14 at 4pm in Clones, Monaghan.
"Fans were deeply appreciative of Translink's services last year following my requests and I am hoping we can build on this relationship as Derry have even more success in the coming months.
"I would, therefore, request that Translink add a special route between Derry and Clones for the match. I am happy to liaise between yourselves and clubs/ county board as done previously".
