The ITV Love Island villa has reportedly been rocked by the second recoupling on the show. It left one of the islanders being axed from the show and it is said the recoupling "will have viewers on the edge of their seats".
An islander on the ITV2 dating show is said to have been sent home from the villa after filming the second recoupling yesterday, January 19. This comes after Wednesday night's episode where the boys came close to blows in explosive scenes after the islanders played beer pong and dares.

As reported by The Mirror, it is understood the Islanders were told about the recoupling by Love Island host Maya Jama, who has flown back to South Africa after a brief stint in London to celebrate her debut on the show earlier this week.
A TV source told The Sun of the recoupling: "The news of a recoupling sent shockwaves around the villa. One of the islanders was left red-faced after they weren’t chosen and has gone home.
“The first recoupling is always tough and it is fair to say this one will have viewers on the edge of their seats.” In the closing moments of the show, a huge argument between contestants Shaq and Harris broke out, leaving viewers shocked.
All the Love Islanders played beer pong, the newest bombshell David was dared to lock lips with the girl he fancied the most for 30 seconds and he chose Tanya, who is currently coupled up with Shaq.
This led to an argument later in the evening, when Doncaster TV salesman Haris asked David what the kiss was like, in front of Shaq.
Shaq accused Haris of “s*** stirring” with his questions and the confrontation quickly escalated. The other boys were forced to intervene as they sent both Haris and Shaq off to separate areas of the villa to cool off.
Love Island 2023 aired the first recoupling of the series on Tuesday night, as bombshell Tom picked which girl he wanted to couple up with and steal from another male Islander. Olivia looked thrilled as her name was called, and she walked up to join him at the front of the firepit as the others watched on.
Tom chose Olivia, leaving her thrilled as her name was called at the firepit. Tom's decision at the recoupling meant farmer Will is now single and at the risk of being dumped.
Ring girl and actress Olivia had made it clear to others she only saw Will as a friend, and actually had her eye on Haris.
