If you're currently pregnant you will likely be knee deep in the name game.
Choosing your baby's moniker is no easy decision, whether you want to go for something on trend or something totally unique, you will no doubt be consulting baby books and websites.
But the experts at BabyCenter are offering a helping hand and have predicted the top girls and boys names for 2022.
Whatever you choose, there are always trends that come and go - and this year is no different.
While many of the predicted names remain a constant from previous years, there are a few surprises in the mix as well.
BabyCentre compiles a list of the most popular names searched on the site to predict what parents will call their babies in the months ahead The Mirror reports.
At the top of the girls list for is Emma, while Noah might surprise some as the name predicted to be the most popular for boys.
Amelia is predicted to be second on the list for girls, and for the boys was Liam.
Third from the top for little girls was Ava and finishing off the top three boys names is Elijah.

While classical names like Emma and Jack are still popular, there a a few predicted more unusual names.
Nova - a star that suddenly becomes brighter then returns to its original state - is much more futuristic, and holds a place at number 14. Luna and Aurora also follow the same suit.
While Mateo, which means "gift of God", proved to be popular as it came in at number 4.
