Experienced ex-Stenhousemuir and Alloa striker signs for East Kilbride Thistle

Stenhousemuir (Organization) Alloa East Kilbride (Organization) East Kilbride Thistle Jamie Longworth

East Kilbride Thistle have signed experienced striker Jamie Longworth for their West of Scotland League Third Division campaign.

The 34-year-old will officially join the Showpark club when his St Roch's contract comes to an end this summer.

Longworth enjoyed a professional career that saw him play for Queen's Park, Stranraer, Alloa and Stenhousemuir, before dropping down to the Lowland League with East Kilbride.

Longworth follows midfielder Scott Hadden, goalkeeper Iain Stewart, midfielder David Gray, winger Ross Kennedy and forward Dino Molinari through the door as boss Garry O'Hanlon rebuilds his squad.
