Exclusive! Taarak Mehta’s Sacchin Shrof: Married life is awesome and I feel blessed to have Chandni in my life

After a grand cocktail party, where Sacchin Shrof introduced the woman of his dreams to everyone on Friday, the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor tied the knot with Chandni Kothi on February 25. The wedding was replete with rituals. The newlyweds’ big day was attended by Sacchin’s co-actors from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, web series Aashram, and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The highlight of the wedding was the bride’s entry. Chandni danced to a mashup of three songs while walking towards the stage, and Sacchin couldn’t take his eyes off her.

Talking to Bombay Times a day after his wedding, the actor says, “I am in a very comfortable, relaxed, and happy space. Married life is awesome though I am yet to experience it (smiles). It’s a sweet feeling. The journey will have its challenges, but Chandni and I look forward to planning and working on things together. We are blessed and especially me for having Chandni in my life. She is my biggest support system.”

The two-day affair was quite hectic for Sacchin, as he laughingly tells us, “At the cocktail party, I wasn’t able to eat even a morsel of food because I was running around to attend to everyone (laughs!). But it was beautiful to see my family, my friends from the industry, and outside being a part of my big day. So, no complaints!”

Ask him about his honeymoon plans and he replies, “We are still settling in and will plan everything after that.”
