Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and California-based Oakmont Corporation have exclusively released the first images for the new Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol. The stunning oceanfront development on the Los Cabos Corridor has already secured over $100 million in pre-sales of its expansive residences before breaking ground this week.
Located in the high-end luxury corridor between the Montage and Esperanza resorts, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol is being built on 50 beachfront acres and is designed to look like a seaside village with groups of two-story buildings.
The Four Seasons Resort will include 74 guest rooms and casitas, 17 suites, and five villas, in addition to family, adult, and spa pools, multiple dining options, a signature Four Seasons spa, a cutting-edge fitness facility, a Kid’s Club, and an open-air Mercado alongside the finest local vendors. Guests and residents will have access to the golf course at Cabo Del Sol and all ocean and mountain Baja experiences.
Each of the 61 Four Seasons private residences will offer up gorgeous ocean views with large glass windows and expansive terraces overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The limited collection of private villas and residences includes two- to five-bedroom layouts up to 5,600 square feet and starting at $4.8 million. All residences have private pools and offer spacious, covered outdoor terraces of up to 1,800 square feet. Owners may enter their residences into the Four Seasons Private Retreats rental program, and they can purchase a membership in Cove Club.
The new property is planned to open in 2023 and will be located alongside the exclusive Cove Club, a 500-acre private club and community within the master-planned Cabo Del Sol development. Cabo Del Sol is a 1,800-acre master-planned community featuring the famed Jack Nicklaus Cove Club Course. The private golf and beach club and resort community is situated on 500-acres and includes a members-only beach club with beach dining, four pools, golf, a mountain adventure park, organic farm, and racquet sports park.
I spoke with Robert Day, CEO of Oakmont Corporation, the owner of Cabo Del Sol, and he says, “Four Seasons had been seeking a site in the corridor for years. The opportunity at Cabo Del Sol for a site this large and iconic with a lot of beachfront was exactly what they had been waiting for.”
Mr. Day also explains the attraction for luxury travelers, “We have so much to do from playing the two golf courses to adventuring to the mountain side of the property to walking and exploring our two miles of beachfront. The Mercado that has been designed for this Four Seasons is going to be a special spot for guests and owners – with curated local brands and vendors and another spot to connect over the delicious culinary options we have in Cabo.”
“With our plans for the overall project, we really see the vision for Cabo Del Sol as offering so much to do within our 1,800 acres but also the ability to go just off property to the many incredible adventures, art, and cultural experiences Cabo has to offer.
