Jeremy Clarkson has been hitting the headlines in recent days after allegedly being dropped by Amazon Prime and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire due to abhorrent comments made about Meghan Markle.
In a recent column, the former Top Gear host wrote that he "hated" the former Suits actress "on a cellular level" and even wanted to see her "paraded naked through the streets".
Clarkson's column was swiftly removed from online after it was met with widespread outrage from the public, MPs and his own daughter.

The 62-year-old TV personality issued an apology to the Sussexes saying that he was "really sorry" all the way "from the balls of my feet to the follicles on my head".
However, it was not welcomed by Harry and Megan, who are understandably sickened by some of the comments made.
The Sussexes released a statement on the matter, which read: “On Dec. 25, 2022, Mr. Clarkson wrote solely to Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex. The contents of his correspondence were marked Private and Confidential.
“While a new public apology has been issued today by Mr. Clarkson, what remains to be addressed is his long-standing pattern of writing articles that spread hate rhetoric, dangerous conspiracy theories, and misogyny.
“Unless each of his other pieces were also written ‘in a hurry,’ as he states, it is clear that this is not an isolated incident shared in haste, but rather a series of articles shared in hate.”
In response to the controversy, Amazon reportedly cut ties with Clarkson, according to Variety. In the same 24-hour period, ITV bosses said they have “no commitments” to further editions of ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, indicating that he would not be returning to the show.
Change of tune
Most unusually, Clarkson has previously come to the defence of Markle, and even wrote in a Sun column in December 2018, that she was "a breath of fresh air for the royals" and slammed her "ridiculous father" for his antics in the run up to their nuptials.
Clarkson also wrote: "At this rate, it won't be long before she is stripped and forced to walk naked through the streets of York while people with skin diseases chant 'Shame!' and throw excrement at her” - which is the same line he used against her four years later.
The presenter has in the past admitted that he "doesn't know her" and couldn't understand why there was so much hatred towards Meghan.
He wrote: "As a result, she will have less impact on your life than your postman's wife. You don't hate her. So why on earth should you hate Meghan?"
"It's ridiculous, cruel and heartless — and unless she proves me wrong by going around at night urinating on homeless people, it needs to stop."
