Leeds is set to be rocked by more thunderstorms later on Sunday with the Met Office predicting that multiple bouts of thunder and heavy rain will roll over the city.
Storms have been the theme of the weekend with some areas experiencing heavy downpours and prolonged bouts of thunder on Saturday night. A yellow warning issued by the Met Office for Sunday does not cover the city but thunder is still expected to return later on this afternoon.
The worst of the weather is expected to hit Leeds between 5pm and 9pm today. The forecaster is expecting these storms to be more short-lived than those we've already seen this weekend.

The Met Office forecast for Yorkshire said: "Scattered showers are likely this afternoon, turning heavy and thundery in places. Generally feeling fresher than yesterday, but warm in sunshine with light winds. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
"Showers will gradually die out this evening, leaving a dry and increasingly clear night, although patchy low cloud may form over western hills later. Minimum temperature 11 °C."
