Thunder, lightning and heavy rain is set to hit Liverpool later today.
On Father's Day, a yellow Met Office weather warning for thunderstorms almost entirely covered Merseyside with heavy showers hitting the region.
The Met Office has forecast a thunderstorm for Liverpool starting at 3pm today. The rain should clear after 4pm before starting again tomorrow at 7am.

Heavy rain will then plague Liverpool up until 1pm as the showers become light rain. However, despite the continued rain and thunderstorms, the heat will continue, with temperatures reaching the mid 20s.
Today, temperatures in Liverpool will peak at 23°C and 20°C is forecast for tomorrow.
Met Office forecaster Marco Petagna said: "There's been quite a few storms embedded within that area of northern England, Northern Ireland and one or two in parts of Wales.
"It's pretty torrential, 25 to 35mm in an hour is certainly going to cause some flooding problems, and there's still potentially bad conditions to come."
