Ireland will be battered by Storm Eunice on Friday, with some parts due to be worse hit than others.
It’s the second storm in as many days, after Storm Dudley wreaked havoc on Wednesday.
Met Eireann has issued a spate of weather warnings, including its highest Status Red alert for Cork and Kerry.
Along with the extremely strong and damaging winds, Storm Eunice will also bring spells of heavy rain and snow leading to challenging and disruptive travel conditions
Met Eireann say the storm poses “a significant threat to life” and has urged people “not to make unnecessary journeys”.
