Snow has started to cover parts of Leeds this morning, as 12-hours of heavy snow is expected to cover the country throughout today and Friday.
Heavy snowfall is to come as 19 hours of disruption is expected to batter Leeds from today. Some flurries of snow have already started to fall this morning with much more expected.
This comes as amber and yellow warnings for snow and ice are in place for wide areas of the county until 7am tomorrow. Below is when heavy snow is expected to hit Leeds.

Leeds will see a mixture of heavy and light snow, as well as sleet, throughout Thursday.
Heavy snow is forecast for the city from 11am right up until 3pm, heavy snow will return at 11pm and continue into the early hours of Friday morning.
