High street health and beauty retailer Boots has sent shoppers into a frenzy with the announcement that it is set to further reduce all of its Christmas sale items by 90%. The retail giant had previously slashed all of its Christmas sale stock by 70% in stores - and shoppers have been stocking up on some eye-watering bargains.
In a move which Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis would be proud of, many shoppers are bagging the bargains and storing them away to give as Christmas presents this year. Not only does it help to spread the cost of Christmas presents by starting early, but it also means you'll be paying a lot less for items which are worth considerably more.
Now Boots has said it is decreasing its prices further. From today (Monday March 13) Boots has slashed the price of all seasonal sale items to 90% off in stores - meaning shoppers can potentially save hundreds of pounds and bag some incredible bargains.
The 90% off sale will only be live in Boots stores from today, and not online. Those who want to buy sale items from the comfort of their own home won't have to wait much longer, though, as the health and beauty retailer is set to reduce all sale seasonal items by 80% online from tomorrow (Tuesday March 14).
What shoppers are able to find in the Boots sale depends entirely on what is left in stock - and this may vary depending on which store you can visit. But Boots has told Manchester Evening News that best-selling seasonal brands such as Soap&Glory, Ted Baker, FCUK, Lynx will all be up for grabs.
Other beauty retailers such as Superdrug, LookFantastic and Sephora all have their own sales throughout the year. These are well worth keeping an eye on.
Away from the sale, shoppers have been snapping up beauty boxes in time for Mother's Day, which contain items costing considerably more than the price of the box. The £30 Boots The Icons Fragrance Beauty Box has proven particularly popular with both beauty buffs and those shopping for Mother's Day gifts.
The budget £30 box contains fragrances and makeup items from various different high-end brands, including NARS, Liz Earle and Laura Mercier. Combined, all of the fragrances inside the box cost £46 - which is more than the entire box itself. On top of that, you'll also get a £20 voucher to spend on perfume and fragrance at Boots, bringing the Box's entire worth to £66 - more than double its cost.
You can buy the Icons Fragrance Beauty Box on the Boots website for £30 here. The £30 fragrance and beauty box is exclusive to Boots, but you can buy full-size versions of some of the products inside it from retailers like Superdrug and LookFantastic - which currently has 20% off selected brands.
You can shop everything in the Boots 80% off online sale from Tuesday March 14 here. Alternatively, you can bag 90% off bargains from your local Boots store from today.
