Former UFC star Paige VanZant doesn’t think the love story between Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop sensation Taylor Swift is real.
In Wednesday’s episode of her Page and Austin podcast, the 29-year-old said the Kelce-Swift pairing is nothing more than a “publicity stunt.”
“I believe it’s 100 percent fake,” VanZant said. “It is publicity. It is—one, it’s huge for the NFL because yes, the NFL is big. Taylor Swift is huge, and now she’s getting an entirely different demographic to come watch the NFL. Think of the wives that are buying Travis Kelce jerseys now. … It’s good for Taylor Swift. It’s good for the NFL. It’s good for Travis Kelce. There is so much strategic stuff that’s happening.”
Swift has attended Chiefs games, sitting with Kelce’s parents, Ed and Donna, during those contests. The famous couple has been spotted at a trendy restaurant in Kansas City and embracing each other in Argentina after one of the pop star’s Eras Tour shows in November.
After six years as a UFC fighter, VanZant was released and began a new career by starting an OnlyFans account, on which she has said she generates more income than she did as a fighter.
