Conor McGregor's rival and fellow two-weight world champion Henry Cejduo has slammed the Irishman as "horrible", declaring that he "makes him sick".
Cejudo is managed by Ali Abdelaziz, who also takes care of Khabib Nurmagomedov's career and is one of McGregor's biggest adversaries. As such, the relationship between the two former double champions has never been good, with the duo often going back-and-forth on social media in heated exchanges where Cejudo will criticise his rival's technique.
McGregor has previously branded Cejudo, an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling before winning and defending belts at flyweight and bantamweight in the UFC, a "novice". They have also discussed a possible fight, with Cejudo bulking up two divisions to go lightweight, although the Irishman laughed off the suggestion when Mirror Fighting put it to him in April.
"Hell no! Conor Mctapper is absolutely horrible," Cejudo responded to a fan who asked him if the pair could ever team up together for a training camp during a recent question and answer session on his YouTube channel. "He's terrible. He makes me sick. And that's all there is to it. He can do me a favour and bend the damn knee."
Cejudo is often critical of the Irishman's technique, although he has rarely gotten particularly personal with his long-time rival. The pair have sent each other mean messages on a number of occasions, with their most intense discussion taking place earlier this year when the American was critical of his rival's training footage.
“Everything is done naked,” Cejudo wrote back in April after watching a clip of McGregor on the comeback trail. “No fakes, no faints, no level changes. But you think you're going to get a different result. You work too much on combinations where you should be working entries, set ups, and setting traps. Just a tip from the goat.”

“The opening punches are the traps/feints/fakes,” McGregor replied. “You ever hear or see that before? Your little feints won’t draw me out, kid. But pump a few real shots you might get a response. You are a little fat novice with about 2 ko’s. At bantam. I’ve 20. Across 3 divisions. Quiet, you bum!”
Cejudo was better known for his grappling before retiring from MMA in 2020, but did land famous knockout wins over Marlon Moraes, Dominick Cruz and TJ Dillashaw as well as dethroning the seemingly unbeatable Demetrious Johnson. He is currently eyeing up a return to action, and has enlisted the legendary Mike Tyson to help him with his striking
And he has even asked for a fight with McGregor, telling The Schmo : "I will literally go up to 155lb to fight you if you are willing to be sober for the fight. What's up? I don't know man - I will literally go to 155 if Conor McGregor passes sobriety. I think that's even. I think that's a great fight. I think that's a great negotiation tactic."
