A secluded retreat on the outskirts of Singleton owned by former television sports broadcaster Cameron Williams has sold.
The eco-friendly residence, known as Wareng, at Howes Valley brought in $1.3 million for ex-Channel 9 sports commentator Williams who offloaded the property following his recent split from estranged wife, Natasha Russo.
The new owners of Wareng are a Newcastle-based couple, Laurel and Todd Daniels, who made the purchase through Cutcliffe Properties' Nathan Vincin.
The sale earns Williams and Russo a pretty penny, too.
The ex-couple paid $850,000 for the property in 2018 which was initially sold in 2015 by its award-winning Sydney-based architect Ian Poole for $655,000.
Mr Poole designed the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home to blend in with the environment, with its arched roof line and large glass windows and sliding doors bringing the outdoors in.
He and his wife also planted the property's vines and olives on land around 30 years ago.
Set on 42 acres and bordered by the Yengo National Park, Wareng was on the market for a fortnight before it was sold prior to going to auction.
The sale racks up the third $1 million-plus sale in Howes Valley.
The property offered several income streams with an olive plantation of around 280 trees and a vineyard.
It also operated as a successful Airbnb rental earning $528 per night.
