Kevin Clifton, a Strictly Come Dancing favourite for seven years, has posted a touching message about how he's turned his life around in the past five years. The professional dancer, who welcomed first daughter, Minnie, with partner Stacey Dooley in January, shared his feelings on Instagram, saying he wasn't always in a great place.
Posting to his account, Kevin, 40, wrote: "Don’t like to talk about it too much in public but a few years ago I wasn’t always doing as well as I always tried to make out. Today I’m celebrating the most wonderful past 5 yrs."
Kevin and Stacey, who is a documentary maker, met on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2018 and went on to win the glitterball that year. He's credited the presenter with making him love dancing again. And in the post he also shared a handwritten note that read: "Just remember five years ago, you dreamed about where are you now."
