Wealth manager Quilter has announced the death of its commercial and propositions director, David Tiller, at the age of 56.
He passed on 28 December while out walking with friends in the Lake District.
Tiller has an industry veteran and previously spent more than 20 years at Standard Life, responsible for several platform market and investment technology innovations.
During his time at what is now abrdn, he held various senior roles, including most recently global head of client technology solutions.
He also held non-executive roles with Origo, Criterion and Tenet over the course of his career.
He was appointed by Quilter to lead its commercial and propositions teams in September 2021.
Steven Levin, chief executive of Quilter said: “We are all desperately saddened by the news of David’s passing and our condolences and thoughts are with his family at this time.
“We have benefited from David’s deep industry knowledge, and I feel grateful to have worked with him.
“He had already made a significant impact in our business and had brought together people from across our proposition, product and marketing teams to help us create more compelling client and adviser propositions.”
