Ex-RTE radio star Gareth O'Callaghan and his family have said they are heartbroken - after their family dog Finn was kicked by a group of "teenage trick-or-treaters" on Halloween night.
In an emotional video on social media, Gareth warned the alleged offenders that he will be 'coming looking for them'.
Gareth's wife, Paula, shared a photo of their "little hero" recovering after taking the kick, which caused him to fall and yelp with pain.

She had initially posted: "Our beautiful gorgeous boy, who experienced animal cruelty that no animal should ever experience was kicked this evening by a teenage group of “trick or treaters”.
"A kick that made him fall back and yelp with pain. My little gorgeous perfect boy. This is disgusting #Finn our boy"
Gareth then followed up with a video on his own account, saying: "I will know who you are, and I will find you. I don’t mean to sound like Liam Neeson, but I’ll tell you one thing, you hurt the most innocent, harmless little individual in the world.
"I’m coming looking for you so remember what you did tonight. You destroyed this little baby,"
Hundreds of well-wishers responded in the comments, with one animal sanctuary writing: "So sorry to hear about little Finn & yes, it would be great to find the person who did this & report it to the Guards & keep following up on it till something is done. Finn needs a voice & you are a strong one for him."
Another wrote: "This would make your blood boil. If you haven't already, check with neighbours for any ring doorbell cameras that may have caught them. I hope you do find them."
While a third responded: "Finn will be ok because he has you and Paula looking at my two tonight and the pure innocence of their life trust everyone cause they are lucky never to have known anything but love"
