Lennon Miller should've been sent off for a 'straightforward' red card during Motherwell's draw with Rangers yesterday.
That's the viewpoint of former Scottish FA referee Bobby Madden.
One of Scotland's top talents tackled Oscar Cortes as the attacker looked to break away with the ball.
However, the 18-year-old appeared to catch Cortes high, and it's for that reason that Madden believes a VAR intervention should've taken place to advise the on-field official, Kevin Clancy, to review his decision of a booking.

He wrote on Instagram: "Here you see the defender lunging over the ball and making contact on the ankle and the turn of the ankle.
"This should be a VAR intervention and quite a straightforward red card for serious foul play."

Speaking to Sky Sports post-match, former Gers striker Kris Boyd thought Miller was fortunate to get away with a yellow.
He commented on the incident: "I think Lennon Miller is a little bit lucky here. You can understand, he goes over the top of him, but he does catch Oscar Cortes on the ankle there. I think he is very lucky."
Philippe Clement's side battled back from two goals down at Fir Park to secure a share of the spoils thanks to a double by Hamza Igamane.
