Ex-Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield has submitted a planning application to the local authority for a new pub located under a 10 minute walk to Ibrox.
The Canadian international left the club at the end of his contract this season and has his eyes set on a new venture in Glasgow.
Arfield, 34, is hoping to turn the fromer location of a Ladbrokes betting shop on Copland Road into the new go-to bar for those in the area.

The initial application was made by the former Gers man on May 17, however, proposed drawings for the venue were just submitted to Glasgow City Council last week.
It is currently being looked over by councillors who will discuss whether to give the new pub a green light.
A name for the bar has not been revealed and it is unclear when a decision will be made on the plans.
