Ex-Rangers star Ryan Kent completes move to European giants

Ryan Kent has completed a free transfer move to Fenerbahce.

The winger, 26, left Rangers in the summer upon the expiry of his Ibrox contract.

He joins the club on a four-year deal with the contract to be officially signed after a medical.

A club statement read: "Our club has reached an agreement with Ryan Kent, whose contract with Glasgow Rangers has expired, for a period of 4 years.

"The official contract will be signed after the health checks to be made when our player arrives in our country for the season's camp. We present it to the public."

Kent announced his move to the Turkish giants with a message on the club social media accounts.

He said: "Hello, Fenerbahce fans this is Ryan Kent.

"Firstly, I would like to congratulate everybody associated with the club for winning the cup.

"It's an honour to be joining Fenerbahce. After speaking with the club I am aware of the visions and targets for next season.

"I look forward to helping my team achieve those goals starting with the SuperCup next month.

"I am excited to start pre-season, to meet my team-mates, and to meet you fans. Take care."
