Josh Windass has a 'bit of everything' as the former Rangers star earned plaudits for his Sheffield Wednesday FA Cup heroics.
The 29-year-old fired home a deadly double and crashed a free-kick from range off the crossbar as the English League One side produced a giant-killing in the third round to knock out English Premier League high-flyers Newcastle.
The former Light Blues attacker has already netted a treble this year against Cambridge United to take his overall goal tally to the season to 11 while he has also contributed four assists to date. Former England and Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy hailed his two goals against Eddie Howe's men as 'terrific' while also labelling him as a 'talented player'. Speaking on BBC's Match of the Day, Murphy said: "I thought he [Windass] was terrific and took his goals well. Ultimately scoring goals wins you matches - something Newcastle didn't do very well in this particular game.

"He was sharp right from the off. He's a talented player and has got a bit of everything."
He continued: "When you score goals and you win a game, you're going to have a nice evening. He's probably sitting at home with a nice beer or a glass of wine!"
Windass and Co are currently sitting second in English's third tier after 25 games. They trail leaders Plymouth Argyle by five points at the summit as they bid for a return to the English Championship.
Away from the league, the FA Cup triumph over Newcastle has earned a fourth round clash against Celtic hero Scott Brown and his Fleetwood Town side.
