Ex-Rangers kid Robbie Ure played for Anderlecht in a bounce game.
The former Ibrox striker left the club in the summer at the end of his contract.
And he reportedly featured for the Belgian side for a trial in a friendly match on Monday.
Anderlecht played against second division side Patro Eisden with Ure a second-half substitute.
Reporter Guillaume Raedts revealed Ure had featured for Anderlecht in the bounce match and wore the number 71 in a "test" appearance.
It's thought Ure, 19, is being trialled with a view to joining the Anderlecht under-23 set-up after his Ibrox exit this summer.
Ure's Anderlecht opportunity comes after the striker had his dream move to Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar scuppered.
Ure had been on trial with the Dutch club for two weeks after being invited to play in pre-season matches.
He played in Jong AZ's 3-2 win over VV Katwijk.
However, reports claimed his move was axed due to red tape over Dutch FA contracts.
KNVB rules state that non-EU youngsters aged 18 and 19 can only gain a work permit if they earn more than £3,250 per week.
And as Alkmaar were not prepared to offer a pay packet as lucrative as that, Ure will not be allowed to sign.
The Scotland youth international left his boyhood club Rangers this summer after making three first-team appearances last season.
He scored on his debut in the League Cup against Queen of the South last August, while he also enjoyed short run-outs against St Mirren in Giovanni van Bronckhorst's final game, and at Easter Road in the top six split.
Ure left to seek more regular game time at first-team level.
But because Rangers offered a new deal when they put an extension proposal in front of Ure, they will be entitled to training compensation when Ure signs for another team.
