Borna Barisic has shared an injury update after being ruled out on his debut for Leganes.
The Croatian defender is sidelined with a knee injury he suffered on his first outing for the La Liga side after a transfer deadline day move.
Barisic signed for the Spanish club on loan from Super Lig side Trabzonspor having only started three times for the Turkish club since joining them from Rangers.
The full-back sustained a serious knee injury just moments into his La Liga debut against Valencia.
He lasted just 10 minutes in the 2-0 defeat. Leganes have since confirmed his season is over.
Barisic has updated supporters on his injury as he begins his road to recovery.
On his personal Instagram page, Barisic shared photos of himself in hospital and also walking with the use of crutches.

Leganes players showed their support for Barisic with t-shirts wishing him well in their next match after the injury blow.
