Former Rangers midfielder John Lundstram has been hailed as the "new prince" at Trabzonspor - just months after fans demanded his contract was ripped up.
The 31-year-old has become a key player for the Super Lig side this season after joining after his exit from Rangers in the summer.
Lundstram joined the Turkish club alongside Borna Barisic - but the defender has since left on loan to Leganes.
The English midfielder endured a tough start to life at Trabzonspor with furious supporters even demanding his contract be ripped up after a challenging period.
Furious fans had blasted Lundstram for his performances in the early part of the season with club technical director Senol Gunes even questioning the player in leaked private conversations.
"I cannot understand the Lundstram transfer," he said.
"We have several players with the same characteristics. Lundstram is a very heavy and cumbersome football player.

"There is nothing we can do at the moment, but if there is an opportunity to send him to another team, it would be good for both Lundstram and us.”
Lundstram, now though, has become an invaluable player for the Turkish side with the midfielder regularly starting - and even putting in a shift at centre-back.
Turkish outlet Haber61 branded Lundstram as "the new prince" for Trabzonspor stating the player "has become one of the most trusted names in Trabzonspor".
To date, Lundstram has played 31 times for Trabzonspor this season, scoring three goals in the process.
After the 5-2 win over Rizespor last night, Lundstram said: "Wherever my coach makes me play, I play.
"Centre-back, number 6, number 8 - I'm enjoying every moment I'm here.
"We have a very good relationship with Şenol Güneş. It made me adapt.
"He made it very clear to me why I play in my good times and why I don't play in my bad times."
