Ex police vehicle seized from disqualified driver in Co Tyrone

An ex police vehicle was seized in Omagh on Sunday after the PSNI said its driver attempted to run into a nearby house before being apprehended.

According to police, checks showed that the driver is currently serving a three year disqualification from driving, had no insurance and was also breaching bail conditions.

A social media post from the PSNI said the Vauxhall Insignia seized was an 'ex Dungannon police vehicle', which they claimed had an incorrect registration 'to disguise its true identity'.
