An ex-OnlyFans model from Ireland has made her much-anticipated return to Instagram this week.
Shahira Barry, from Galway, was welcomed back by her 101k followers after a period of inactivity.
The part-Bangladeshi model had not posted on social media since early August and her hundreds of thousands of followers were wondering where she had gone.

But yesterday, October 4, Shahira finally published a new picture on her profile.
Shahira chose a photo of her at the beach in Los Angeles, California, simply captioned: “Hey Instagram! It’s been a while”.
She is famous not only for her beautiful pictures published on social media, but also for partying it up with Hugh Hefner in the Playboy mansion, and being a body double for Kim Kardashian.
However, many fans were just happy to see her return to the social media site.
Under the post, many fans welcomed her back.
One said: “Wow, so beautiful.”
Another one added: “What a beautiful pic.”
A third one wrote: “Looking stunning.”
Her career has not always been fun and games as she opened up previously about her experience with OnlyFans.
She said: "I don’t use OnlyFans anymore. I set it up during the pandemic but I didn’t like it. It just wasn’t for me and it took too much of my time but I never wanted it to be a full-time thing.
"A lot of my work had stopped at the time and I was at home but with the same bills to pay and living in LA. It was going viral and being talked about a lot so I decided to join but I feel I was a little naive of the risks of joining it.
"For example, it cost me a TV show I spent eight months auditioning for as OnlyFans is not considered 'brand friendly.’”
Shahira was also permanently banned from Snapchat and TikTok because of her OnlyFans account.
She added: "Having a link tree in my TikTok bio had my entire TikTok permanently banned with no warning (I had 200,000 followers on TikTok at the time and was earning money on TikTok).
"The same thing happened with my Snapchat, so overall it gave me a very bitter taste towards OnlyFans and I feel I got in over my head without really understanding the judgement and stigma of being on there."
