Former Newcastle United striker Joselu was on hand with a wonder goal for Espanyol in their 2-1 win over La Liga rivals Getafe. The ex-Magpies forward opened the scoring with a brilliant solo goal from just inside the opposition half, lobbing David Soria.
Espanyol's joy was short lived with Enes Unal equalising a minute later for Getafe, with Javi Puado sealing the three points in the second-half. The goal takes Joselu onto ten for the season in La Liga, from just 17 appearances, lifting Espanyol up to 14th in the table.
The former Magpies forwards is enjoying life in the top tier of Spain, having joined Espanyol from relegated side Alaves at the start of the current campaign. The 32-year-old penned a three-year deal and is certainly repaying the faith shown in him.

Joselu has scored in his last three outings, against Barcelona, Girona and now Getafe with Espanyol unbeaten in that time. The Spaniard is certainly enjoying life back in his native country, having struggled to find goals at Newcastle United, scoring 11 goals in 20 appearances this term.
The former United striker scored just seven times in 52 appearances at St. James' Park.
