Daniel Jones goes from a team that is currently 2-9 to one that is currently 9-2. That’s a good business decision by the former New York Giants quarterback,

Jones is signing with the Minnesota Vikings a week after being released by the Giants.

The former first-round pick of New York was 24-44-1 as a starter there.

He joins a quarterback room that has Sam Darnold — another castoff from MetLife Stadium, by the New York Jets — Nick Mullens and Brett Rypien.

The Vikings’ 2024 first-round pick J.J. McCarthy has missed the entire season due to two knee procedures.
