'Ex McDonald's worker' reveals worst parts of job - and claims she wasn't allowed to use loo

A woman who claims to be an ex McDonald's employee has revealed what it was like working for the fast-food chain - saying on some shifts she wasn't even allowed to use the toilet.

The American TikTok star, who uploads to the account @itsabrokenhallelujah, said she worked for the burger giant for four years but one day she'd had enough so she quit on the spot.

She alleges that stressed bosses would lambast their employees when targets weren't being met and claims that on one occasion she was told she couldn't even use the bathroom.

She has shared her story with other TikTok users and many rushed to her defence, sharing their stories about working in fast-food restaurants.

What do you think of the woman's claims? Let us know in the comments...

In the clip, the woman said: "After four years of working for a horrid business that doesn’t give a s*** about its employees, I’m done.

"Managers there talk to people really rudely and get upset with the way things are going.

"If they're not doing well with their times, they'll take it out on their employees and talk to them like s*** and not allow them to use the bathroom and say rude things and take their cups out of their mouths for no reason."

After the clip was shared on TikTok, other users were quick to comment about their experiences working for fast food restaurants.

One said: "This is the exact reason I can not work in fast food service again. I’ve quit so many fast-food jobs because people don’t have any respect."

"This is the third video I've seen of people quitting McDonald’s, maybe it’s my turn," added a second user.

Then a third wrote: "This is why I quit, because I don’t have patience for disrespectful people."

But then another user spoke out in defence of McDonald's saying it was a good place to work.

They said: "I work at McDonald’s in England and luckily my managers and crew members are very welcoming and it’s a nice work environment as everyone is helpful."

McDonald's have been approached for comment.
