Love Island star Dom Lever has been celebrating his body transformation as he has gone from muscled hunk to bonafide gym god.
The 31-year-old reality star has been living in the spotlight since 2017 when he was a contestant on the hit ITV2 reality romance show.
Dom featured in the same third season as winners Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay surviving for four weeks on the Island before he was dumped from the villa.
Now self defined as a travel, fashion and automotive influencer, Dom has accrued an impressive social media following where he continues to thrill fans with all aspects of his life.
Sharing two snaps of himself via Instagram Stories on Sunday, Dom showed how his body has changed in recent years and wrote a caption reading: “Remember we all start somewhere.”
One image showed Dom as a fresh-faced pre-inked model posing a pair of red swimming trunks.
The Mancunian reality star looked lean in the ‘before’ shot, showing himself with clearly defined abdominal muscles and barely an inch of body fat.
While his ‘after’ snap showed him posing topless in a gym – with his chest now sporting an impressive tattoo, his arm muscles looking beefier than before, and his abs looking even more chiseled than ever.
Dom’s life certainly has been transformed since he appeared on Love Island.
He is now married to show co-star Jess Shears after they coupled up in the villa and together, tied-the-knot in 2018, and they welcomed their first child in October 2019.
Dom and Jess are all set to become parents for a second time as 28-year-old Jess is currently heavily pregnant with their second child.
Announcing their happy news back in March, Jess posed for a social media post wearing a nude leotard a alongside their son she penned: ""Another one to love", alongside a white heart and angel emoji.
Jess then added: "baby boy no.2 due in June"
Meanwhile, Dom recently predicted the imminent eighth season of Love Island could turn out to be the last one – after many fans were left underwhelmed by the 2021 season.
The show was taken off the air for a year and a half due to the Covid-19 pandemic and fans expected a lot last season, but were underwhelmed as they watched Liam Reardon and Millie Court sleepwalk their way to the winners podium.
Predicting the show could be axed if ratings this year flop, Dom said: "I think next year will be the crucial year. I think our year was the year it blew up but since then every year since has gone down a little bit.
"I would love to see it continue but all good shows come to an end like Big Brother.
“This year could be the straw that broke the camel's back or they could nail it and think they f**ked it up last year so we better make it incredible."
The new series of Love Island is due to begin airing on ITV2 from Monday 6 June at 9pm.
