Former Kilmarnock and Celtic player Youssouf Mulumbu says his 'heart breaks' amid ongoing warfare in his homeland.
The ex-West Brom and Norwich City midfielder hailed from the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa. He was born in the Congolese capital Kinshasa.
In the east of the country, in Goma specifically, war rages on between Rwandan-backed M23 rebel soldiers fighting the Congolese government.
Rebels claim to have captured the key city of Goma in the DRC.

Hundreds of people are being wounded every day as fighting in the central African country continues, worsening the humanitarian crisis there.
And Mulumbu - who had three different stints at Killie amid a season on the books of Scottish Premiership champions Celtic - has called on unity in the country.
He wrote on social media site X: "My heart breaks seeing the suffering in Goma and across our beloved DRC.
