Rich Seubert, the gritty guard who was a staple on the New York Giants’ Super Bowl XLII championship team, has been named the 2023 Somerset County Coach of the Year.
The honor was handed out by the Bill Denny/Rutgers Football Letterwinners Chapter of the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame.

Seubert is the head coach at Watchung Hills Regional High School in Somerset County, New Jersey. They had an 8-3 record in 2023 and lost in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA Tournament (Section 1, Group 5).
Seubert, who started 88 games for the Giants, has been the head coach at Watchung Hills since 2016.
