Former gangster Ian 'Blink' MacDonald has evaded prison time after stealing his partner’s car in “a moment of madness”.
The convicted bank robber admitted that he drove off in his girlfriend's Ranger Rover following a heated row at McDonald's in Bellshill, in May, reports the Daily Record.
The vehicle was later dumped by the 61-year-old in nearby Uddingston.

The ex-con also admitted threatening or abusive behaviour towards Ashley, his girlfriend, and said he was receiving help in his battle to overcome his cocaine addiction.
He was handed a community payback order at Hamilton Sheriff Court yesterday and told to get help with his drug and drink problems.
The court heard the couple were hoping to reconcile following a stormy period in their relationship.
