David Seaman expects Manchester United to have 'too much' for Newcastle United when the two sides meet in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Newcastle will contest their first cup final in 24 years, and Eddie Howe will be eager to become the first Newcastle manager to win the League Cup, after the Magpies lost their previous final in this competition against Manchester City in 1976.
Man United have collected 16 victories from their last 20 games across all competitions, and will also be on a high after knocking out FC Barcelona in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday. But Seaman believes the way in which Erik ten Hag has managed his squad during a busy schedule has provided him with an important opportunity to name a full strength side.
"Even if Nick [Pope] hadn't been sent off, I still feel like Manchester United would have too much for them anyway," the former Arsenal and England goalkeeper revealed on the Seaman Says podcast.

"The form that they are in, the confidence that they've all got now. They are all contributing, even the players that are coming in. They rested [Raphael] Varane for this cup game because they said he might've played too many games, and there was a couple of other players that wouldn't have played otherwise.
"The whole squad is ready and what that gives ten Hag now is the chance to pick his best XI. I think Maguire might not make it but he's still got a really strong squad to pick from. So they will be at full strength."
