"Can't beat the people or the team."

It's not the first time she has showed her appreciation for the people of Merseyside as just last year she gave a heartfelt thanks to the staff of a Liverpool hospital.

The Sam Mitchell actress underwent surgery after a nasty sinus infection put her in intensive care.

At the time, she Tweeted: "Thanks for all the messages of support for my operation. It was a huge success and I'm so happy thank you to @LivHospitals and the best staff surgical team and cleanest hospital ever x #NHS #Liverpool."
